For more than a century and a half, Pomham Rocks Lighthouse has lit the way to a safe harbor for commercial and leisure vessels in upper Narragansett Bay. Restoration of the buildings and grounds over the past two decades by Friends of Pomham Rocks Lighthouse has transformed what was an abandoned light station at risk of collapse into an iconic landmark and museum that preserves the rich maritime history of our community.
